The
Scooter Fund
All
donations made to this fund go to help special needs
dogs that are in our care.
The
Scooter Fund is named in memorium of Scooter Kramer,
a rescued beagle from New Jersey who made his way into
our hearts through his daily adventures, along with
siblings Clayton and Spenser, chronicled on the site
Beagles
On the Web. Scooter belonged to Phil and Laurie
Kramer, long-time supporters of beagle rescue. He was
a wonderful example of what a rescue beagle truly is.
At only 11 months old, he came into a foster home and,
after winning a place in their hearts and home, Scooter
was adopted by his foster parents and found a permanent
home with them and their other 2 beagles. After a brief
battle with lymphoma (cancer of the immune system),
Scooter made his way over the Rainbow Bridge on March
13, 2007, at the age of 8 1/2 years. Please click this
